Gemma Collins’ fall on Dancing on Ice became the biggest talking point of the fourth live show of the series.
Dancing on Ice viewers witnessed the 37-year-old lose control during a routine with partner Matt Evers and fall over onto the ice.
Judges Jason Gardiner, Ashley Banjo, Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill still gave the reality star her highest score the series, a total of 16.5.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield consoled a tearful Gemma after the routine as she received feedback from the judges.
While Gemma remained relatively tight-lipped during her feedback, the GC took to social media after to react to her fall.
On Instagram, Gemma shared a clip alongside boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent and their pals at dinner with a bag of ice placed over her knee.
Gemma told her Instagram followers: “I’m in absolute agony, we’ve all come for a bit of dinner. Curry, of course, Arg’s favourite.”
Matt Evers’ dancing partner did tell Holly and Phil after her routine she was okay, so the ice pack is likely precautionary with Gemma unlikely to quit Dancing on Ice because of the fall.
On Twitter, Gemma also retweeted dozens of supportive tweets from her fans offering their kind words via social media.
One tweet she retweeted read: “@missgemcollins you were absolutely brilliant tonight you had a fall but so do the best of them well done.”
A second said: “Don’t care what anyone has to say @missgemcollins SMASHED that performance okay she fell but YES GC #DancingOnIce.”
While a third echoed: “Yes yes yes @TheMattEvers & @missgemcollins we are so proud of you guys right now you were both amazing apart from the fall and we hope Gemma is okay, bring on next week xx.”
